Insurance Panel & Credentialing Applications
The insurance application process can be daunting and time consuming but well worth it, especially if you are now starting out or you find that you need to secure alternatives to your dwindling pool of out-of-pocket patients.

PracticaBilling will fill out, submit and track insurance panel and credentialing applications for you. All you need to do is provide us with the following information, which we will keep on file:
 
 • Updated resume
 • Personal demographic information
 • Practice and business information
 • State and federal DEA numbers
 • State licensing and registration information
 • Evidence of education - i.e Diploma
 • Malpractice insurance
 • Information on any disciplinary actions.

We will identify carriers in your region and determine whether or not they are accepting new providers. Alternatively, if you haven't already, we can help you establish an account with the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare [CAQH - www.caqh.org]. This is an online service intended to eliminate the need for multiple insurance credentialing submissions. In short, we complete one form on your behalf for all of their participating insurance carriers and you authorize who will receive your information.

The insurance credentialing process is critical to getting your practice off to a good start - and ensuring a quicker transition to profitability. The timeline from submission to approval can take up to 6 months - credentialing offices are often centralized and may be reviewing hundreds of submissions for many different areas at any given time. PracticaBilling will take on the task of seeing the application through to the end. Once approved, you will have access to a dedicated referral source and your income will grow.

Collections Lite
Many professionals are not sure how to effectively pursue outstanding patient accounts. PracticaBilling is owned by practicing psychotherapists who understand how critical it is to protect the helping relationships you have developed with your patients. We send out letters only with your authorization. Our Collections Lite letters for overdue payments do not harass. They gently remind. Be assured that polite payment reminders to patients from a neutral billing company are very effective in enhancing receivables. They let patients know a third party is tracking balances, reducing the risk that billing matters will interfere in clinical relationships.
